Deuteronomy 29:9- 30:20

Moses gathers together all of Israel to stand before him.  All positions, generations, and future generations.  Moses reiterates that Israel has a choice:  to life a good, fruitful life by loving G-d and following his commandments or to life a bad life and perish if they choose not to.

Those who decide to look to other nations, other gods, or  Idols will be banished and cursed.  If their influence is strong and they gain followers, the entire tribe will be banished and cursed – their land destroyed.  After generations of exile, the future generation will be called back to follow the commandments, practice Torah, be cleansed, and blessed again.

Practicing Torah will be easy, it will exist “In your mouth and in your heart, so that you can fulfill it.”

Moses concludes by pleading with Israel to choose life, to choose to love G-d, so that they and future generations will live and be blessed.
