About the event
Join CLS for Shabbat in the beautiful Grand Canyon National Park on Friday or Saturday, or BOTH!
A campsite has been reserved at Mather Campground for the afternoon and night of June 14th. Rabbi Nina will lead Shabbat Morning Services at Shoshone Point starting at 10:00 am on June 15th.
Following Shabbat Morning Services, there will be a full day of games and puzzles, lunch (bring your own), easy walks, talks about Jewish eco-teaching and Jewish history in Grand Canyon National Park, and more! Stay as long as you’d like for a beautiful Shabbat day with the CLS community in the Grand Canyon!
Can't make it for both days? That's no problem! You are welcome to attend just one or both days.
If you plan to camp the night of June 14th, bring all the supplies you need (tents only, NO RVs/trailers/pop-ups). Meals may be a combination of potluck and/or on-your-own.
Carpooling is encouraged at both the campsite and Shoshone Point. When you RSVP, driving directions will be shared (there are no signs for Shoshone Point, and a gate code is needed).
Participants are responsible for their own park entrance fee.
