Jen Ruben grew up in Columbus Ohio and moved to Flagstaff in 2010 from Brooklyn, NY.  Jen is currently working as a family law attorney at Glazer, Hammond, & Ruben and loves her job.  She has no pets, but 2 kids who keep her very busy.  Jen has two favorite things about CLS: one, a Jewish community that supports both her son and her daughter; and two, ending a busy week at Shabbat services with friends singing familiar songs with ancient melodies.

Long time board member, past President and current Secretary, David Miggins grew up in New York City and has called Northern Arizona home since 2002.  He works for the business office of Northern Arizona Healthcare.  He has two kids, Maya and Ben, a tri-pawd dog named Joya, and is ​celebrating 30 years of marriage to his wife, Lisa.  His favorite thing about CLS is how the community comes together to help and support those in need or going through hard times or even to assure its members children are able to have special Jewish experiences.

Tom Henderson is a native Texan, born in San Angelo and growing up in Waco.  He is a retired attorney, moving from Houston to Flagstaff in 2013.  He and wife Dorlee have two adult sons, one of whom has relocated to Flagstaff with his family including granddaughter Ivy.  They also recently brought home a rescue Chihuahua named Lola who is totally in charge of the house.  As a convert to Judaism, Tom finds that the intimate setting of the congregation adds to his growing knowledge of the religion and spiritual awareness.

Cassie Beaumont (they/she) grew up in South Carolina before spending some time in Idaho as a student and then transferring to NAU to work on their bachelors degree in Physics and Astrophysics, which they are on track to complete in 2025. They are currently working as a public program seasonal telescope operator at Lowell Observatory. Cassie has a Boston terrier mix named Toula, and she is their baby and their best friend. Cassie’s favorite thing about Congregation Lev Shalom is how welcoming and accepting they have been.

Eli Cohen was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada, in a family steeped in social and communal service traditions.  Following the completion of a B.Sc. in Actuarial Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Manitoba, Eli has worked in the Insurance, Financial Services, and IT industries for over 30 years.  On a communal level, Eli has been a volunteer and participant in one form or another since his early teens. Upon reaching Flagstaff in 2013, he made the decision to lend his skills to a variety of local non-profit organizations and campaigns spanning the fields of civic engagement, social justice, environmental sustainability, the arts, education, and healthcare. It is Eli's belief that both personal and shared community are strengthened by the participation and inclusion of all a community’s members. He is proud to help grow that vision here in his new home.

Stacey Hamburg grew up in Stony Brook, New York. She current works as a nurse at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Arizona. She has one perfect boy, Mason, one energetic huskie and one pretty great husband, Dan Prentice. We absolutely adore all that the CLS education program offers and so appreciate the community it has provided.

Dorlee grew up in El Paso, Texas.  She is a retired attorney, college advisor, and Planned Parenthood educator.  She and her Husband Tom have two grown sons, Nathan and Joel, one precious granddaughter, Ivy, and a much loved dog named Lola.  Dorlee loves that Congregation Lev Shalom provides a warm, supportive Jewish community.
